Find a tree or RuheBiotop
The operator’s map with tree search and mobile site map show Philippshöhe burial forest. Search using the tree or RuheBiotop number. These maps do not offer a search by the deceased person’s name.
The site map labels two outdoor farewell areas, In den Rotbuchen and In den Eichen, and the Waldbüro woodland office. Use the operator’s map for these destinations; they do not have separate markers on our interactive map.
Three practical orientation points
- Visitor car park: The starting point for arrival by car. The marker does not promise an available space or permission to drive into the woodland.
- Emergency access point F6-1 HA: A Hagen fire service location reference on the paths of Philippshöhe burial forest.
- Emergency access point F7-1 HA: A second location reference on the paths. The reference and cemetery name can help identify the location when reporting an incident.
These emergency access points are not staffed stations or cemetery entrances. The map shows their locations and the car park; individual burial places are not included.
From the car park to the destination
The forest barrier is normally closed. Driving to the woodland office is possible only during a burial or under a personally agreed exception. Obtain the tree number through grave search, find it on the operator’s map and remain on the designated paths. If a short or step-free route is essential, contact the cemetery administration before travelling.
